John is an intensely creative professional, who is passionate about helping others lead rewarding lives off the beaten track. He strives to not just solve for "making ends meet", but find inspiration and purpose in every day.

John started Green Ocean Global in 2022. Previously, John worked for Merrill Lynch, TD Ameritrade, and several growth-oriented investment planning firms in the bay area. He has over 15 years of experience providing clients with financial clarity.

John earned his BS in Psychology from the University of Iowa, with minors in Philosophy and French. He also holds a CFP (Certified Financial Planner®) designation.

Currently, John is co-located in Lisbon, Portugal, and San Francisco CA. His family lives in Lisbon, and they enjoy exploring continental Europe, meeting new friends, and learning new languages.
